If both heating and hot water have stopped, start with the safe user checks in the boiler manual: confirm the appliance has power, the controls are calling for heat, the pressure is within the normal range shown by the manufacturer and there is no obvious fault code. In cold weather, a frozen condensate pipe can also stop some condensing boilers from operating.
Do not remove the boiler casing or disturb gas components. Gas Safe guidance is clear that gas work must be carried out by an appropriately registered engineer. Repeatedly resetting a boiler without understanding the fault can also hide a developing problem rather than solve it.
If the fault persists, note the error code, boiler make and model, current pressure and whether the problem started suddenly or intermittently. Sending those details to Doherty's Glasgow boiler repair service can make the first diagnosis more useful.
